London

I arrived in London in the early afternoon. The hotle was off a side street in downtown london, just a few blocks from the main public library. The weather was hot because we were there in July but not humid like I was used to in Florida..The front desk agent handed me to key and it was the wirdest looking key i had ever seen, it had strange edges and jags and it was permanetly attached to a long steel stick so guest would steal it I assumed. I finished my check in and went up to my room.

I swear it was the size of a shoebox but it was clean and the bed was soft and it was a single so i threw my luggage down and climbed into bed for a quick afternoon nap. Later after I woke up and got ready to go out for dinner I met the rest of my group downstairs in the lobby. This was the first time that any of us had laid eyes on one another so I was realived to see everyone was normal just like me. We all chatted about our lived, where we live, go to school, do for a living until our group leader sanctioned us together to do some housekeeping before letting us out in the streets alone. We suddenly formed small groups as we decided where to go for some eates. These people that i formed a group with have been my friends even to this day in the states. We call, write, email and text each always finding ways to keep in communication. These are truley some of the best people I have ever met and have become some of my closet friends.
