Safety Tip
When you're traveling, make sure everyone in your group has a picture of everyone else in your group. If nothing else, get some of those small photoalbums from the dollar store, snap pictures with your digital camera and print them out. Then you'll know they're recent. Then if anyone in your group gets lost, you'll always be able to show a picture of who you're looking for. It wouldn't hurt to write down physical characteristics to go with the photo (age, height, weight, hair and eye color, etc).

Usually I don't loose myself, but its a great idea when you are travelling with children (that I don't have).
There are even fingerprinting kits available here in the US. So you can carry a copy of your childs fingerprints with you and enter them in a database if they really get lost.
If you have a digital camera, its probably enough to snap one picture every day (with current clothing). If something happens you can always find a photolab or give the file to the police.

Yes, that is a very good idea to take a picture of your colleagues and most of all, your children when they are travelling with you. It's one of the most important things that we must put in mind when going on a trip.
i never get lost when i travel alone, just because i never have a destination or guidebook :)
You have no idea how much fun you are missing out on. Give it a shot: Loose yourself
