Good news for Australian's Jetstar, one of the economical priced airlines in Australia is now flying overseas. They only flew within Australia. But now have flights in other parts of the world. They are resonably priced and have a good reputation

Looks like they are following in the footsteps of Virgin (UK airline).

I am wondering if this means I can book a cheap flight from California to Australia now.

At the moment they are only

At the moment they are only flying to a few overseas destinations, like New Zealand, a few Asian countries (Ho Chi Minh, Bali, not sure which others), and Hawaii. Their fares are very cheap. I saw a one way flight to Hawaii for 250ish. I think they are slowly expanding their destinations.

Thanks Jack. I am sure they would expand their destinations as it would help them in their business and it would also help many travellers in having to pay for cheaper flights.
