I like the idea of renting apartments and houses rather than staying in hotels for this time. The houses in rentcityapartments look great and it seems that staying in a place like that during vacation would create an at-home feeling.

Barcelona Hotels are not as cheap as they used to be anymore. Yes, Barcelona has become a very versatile and open minded city. There are many ways you to get to know the characteristics of Barcelona AND there is so much to do in this exclusive metropolis of Catalonia. And I am not just talking about tourist attractions and activities such as walking up and down the Ramblas. Gaudís art pieces are unique and it give the city a top rank on the global tourism market. Barcelona's nightlife events are almost on a level with places like Florida, Miami and South Cali..... Mtv awards, open air festivals, concerts and beach parties etc. etc. I suggest to save up some money and just go there in the summer.!
