Yes, Marsha, and the adventure that goes with it should not be left unnoticed. One can be touched by the determination that the participants have in the course of their race. Their bonding gets closer as they move along. The show is really wholesome.

I have never seen that show. What is it about?

i thought i was the only one who was clueless about this show, i ahev never heard of it.

They have teams of people, I think they start out with 10 teams.  2 people on each team that have some kind of bond between them (married, best friends, life partners, siblings, etc.).  They're in a race, traveling all around the world, overcoming obstacles and performing different challenges that they've set up for them.  The last team to the pit stop is (usually) eliminated from the show.  There are usually 3 non-elimination rounds during the season.  The last team to the pit stop on those occasions have to turn over everything except their passports and the clothes on their backs.  They start the next round with no money and have to beg from strangers or barter or depend on other teams for clothes and money for taxis and other expenses (plane tickets are bought by the show).  It's an exciting show.  You get to see all these different locations, plus the fun of the competitions.

Sounds much better than its title. I was suspecting some boring reality show, but your description sounds pretty good. I have to check it out.

It is a pretty good show. I watch it and enjoy it . My problem is that I am always for the under dog. You will have to watch it I think you will like it.

Topic is old, but just wanted to say I to LOVE amazing race. One thing is you can watch where they go, and then if you ever visit some of the places it is very interesting to see what they seen but with your own eyes. But then again, sometime's the show is just lame.

I didn't know it still came on. Though yea I used to watch it. I watched it all the time.

Well I also love Amazing race and I watch each and every episodes to know different places and people and we can found some good location to visits.
