Your personal wonders of the world
you know they have the 7 wonders of the world, i.e the pyramids and some others i cans remember. what are your personal wonders of the world. here is my list.
1.Leaning Tower of Pisa
2. New York skyline
3.Niagara Falls
Here are my favorites:
Somehow I couldn't stick to just 3. I can name so many astonishing places.

yes they are doing some crazy stuff in it is really amazing that they are greating the world map and you can buy a country if you want, but i am sure that what they are doing will have a huge effect on that region.

First and foremost I think its a total waste of money and energy. I mean think about it. An ice dome in the middle of the desert with a glass surface that looks like a greenhouse? I wonder how much energy this think will burn through.
Building artifical islands? Las Vegas has no trouble attracting tourists without artificial islands.

they are building more island but yet they have problems keeping and maintaining the ones they have, the sand keeps moving to places where they dont want it be, and beacuse of this the beaches in the main land are being Destroid.
Sandy island
Reminds me shomehow of the airport in Hong Kong. This airport is also sinking, because it sits on an artificial island. They somehow put the whole thing on giant shock absorbers, like stilts.
I guess the airport is just as wonderous (if not more) than the islands in Dubai.
yes i remember watching a documentary on how the actually created the airport it was very interesting, i didn’t know that they are having the same problem as in Dubai( i guess they aren’t publicizing it.

I believe it was on Discovery (Modern Marvels). They noticed it after the fact I think and they installed these huge giant shock absorbers that can also lift the airport. I don't remember much more though, just that that Airport won't be there forever (or very long).
i guess they havent showed that episode in the uk as yet, they have spent a lot of money creating something that will not last for very long.
I am currently watching a show on Travel Channel about Kansai Airport (China).
That one too sits on a sinking island. I guess its a common theme among airports.
I think I'm going to choose my 3 from things I've actually seen...........
1. St. Louis Arch
2. Macinac Island
3. The Las Vegas Strip (LOL)
