Using Google Earth with your GPS
I am getting ready for a new trip. While I was doing some research I decided to reveal one of my techniques for finding good photo spots with Google Earth. To spice it up a little bit, I am also showing how to generate GPS uploadable waypoints with the free Google Earth client, something that usually requires the Pro client and even generate Routes, something even their Pro Client can't do.
Here is the Tutorial:

Enjoy!

Now I only need a GPS to make use of this.
I never knew Google Earth would be this nice. I have always thought that it would look like just an ordinary map but its 3D effect makes it great. I would have to see it myself.
BTW, Andre, you did a good job of posting that tutorial. It really enlightened me much. Thanks.
Thank you Helen,
I wish I had more time for this. There are many more tutorials that I would like to write down. I would love to write some photo related and some photoshop tutorials. Over the years I have become quite good with the software.

This is a really cool use of GPS. Another thing that might be useful is plugging the coordinantes into Google Maps so that you can see a street view if it is available. That way you could get another perspecitve (albeit from the top of a car) to see if the picture is really worth it.
