What’s the most dangerous destination you have been to, have you ever visit a country while there is an uprising, an earthquake, or even a tropical storm.

I generally avoid dangerous

I generally avoid dangerous places.

My dad has been in some tight spots before. For years he was a service technician travelling to all sorts of shady places to serve medical equipment. He has been in Columbia, in Saigon during the Vietnam war and a bunch of other very interesting places. He always has good stories to tell. 

I remember one of his favorite stories is having his car break down in the jungle in South America and while his native guide is out to get help he is awake all night on coka leaves guarding the car from bandits. 

I guess his stories are what got me hooked on traveling and seing the world. Maybe I can convince him one day to write down a couple of stories for us, but I would have to translate them.

My brother was in Thailand

My brother was in Thailand when the Tsunamia hit Christmas 2004. He was so lucky but has some terriable memories. But it hasnt stopped him from going over again he only came back last week from another two week stay.
