Casinos

Casinos are often fun for a short little getaway.  We've been to local casinos, and of course Atlantic City and Las Vegas.  Where are some other places that might be fun for a casino getaway?  They don't have to be huge casinos like those in Vegas, just simple but fun and out of the ordinary.

Try to stay away from the machines though. One good thing is that they will bring you free drinks as long as you keep gambling. This means that you can get out about even if you don't loose to much (choose a game you understand) and have a few drinks along the way. If you break even on the tables you got at least free drinks.

I mostly like the casinos for their wonderful buffets. Some are outstanding and really affordable.

Get a players card too. If you turn over a lot of money (I don't mean winning or loosing, just using it and winning it back) you can get free comps like free dining or free lodging (depending on how much you play).

I often go to the Star City

I often go to the Star City Casino in Sydney. It is lovely place. I just love walking around watching all the gamblers win and lose of course. I don't go much on gambling myself but it is interesting watching all the big spenders. Here is a good site to see what the Star City is like.

Sydney!!!

Sydney!!! My dream vacation.  My whole life I've been dreaming of a trip to Australia.  If I ever actually get to Sydney, I'm not sure I'd want to go to a casino.  But I gotta say this does look like a very nice one.  Thanks.
