Travelling and Pregnancy
Can any one give me some advise or tips. I am 12 weeks pregnant and we are booked to go the New Zealand next month. The doctor said I should be fine. But has anyone got any advise they can give me. I am healthy and so far the pregnancy has been fantastic?

I would not worry too much. They always say to just do whatever you would otherwise. I think you will be fine. Most people tend to be overly protective, but I think thats the wrong thing to do.
Have a good time, your unborn child will get a good dose of your happy endorphines and everyone will be better off.
It's no problem to travel while you are pregnant. You can even travel by air up to the 36th week. Just enjoy and relax, your baby will enjoy all those happy feelings.
you should be fine travelling , there is no need to be nervous, just try and enjoy your vacation.

Thank you for all your advise. The Docter told me today while ever my Blood Pressure is fine (and it is at the moment) I should be ok. He does advise though that anyone who tends to get Higher than their normal Blood Pressure while pregnant should think about flying. But I suppose this is the case for anyone really. Found out today it is a little boy too. So happy have three girls and one boy so my son is over the moon.
Congratulations !!!!!!
I am sure you won't hurt your boy in any way by travelling. I am so happy for you!

I understand how you feel tay. But I travelled to America while I was 14 weeks pregnant and had no problems. Just be sure to try and walk around as much as you can on the long flight. And have the normal blood pressure ect checked before you go.
Since the doctor and most of the fellows here said it would be fine then, you should had any worry.
Just take care of your drinks. I knew a lot of people prefer alcoholic drinks during their flight. Consume excessive alcohol drinks would harm your baby during pregnacy period. Take care.
