Show pictures in your forum posts
There are many different ways to show pictures in forum postings.
For forum posts, it is easier to use the service of Photobucket or similar picture hosting services.
Please notice that for articles on the main page (not forum posts) we prefer if the pictures are hosted here, since we do not want the picture to disappear once someone deletes their account. For this special case, see this Help Page.
On Photobucket you can upload your picture. After uploading it will look like this:

Below each picture there are 3 fields (Url, Tag, Img). Copy everything that is in the Url field and then go back to where you are writing your forum posting. On the editor bar below, select the little tree icon:

On the window that opens up, paste the Url that you previously copied into the "Image URL" field.

If you like, you can enter a Image description, that makes it easier for Search Engines to understand what the Image shows.
The Dimensions are generated automatically. You don't have to do anything else. Just hit Insert and the picture will be in your post.
This all sounds much more complicated than it actually is. Once you tried it, you will see how easy it is to add some pictures.
