Newcastle, New South Wales
I am from Newcastle, in the Australian State of New South Wales. I was born here and have lived here all my life. Newcastle is an industrial city and we are only about 1 and a half hours from Sydney. We have a very busy port. We have the sea on one side and the Hunter Valley on the other, well known for it's many famours vineyards. The beaches in Newcastle are well known and one of the leading sites for any one visiting. The CBD area is surrondered by beaches and coast line. I actually live on the out skirts of Newcastle away from the beaches and closer to the rural area. It is a small town of about 200 called Minmi.

Sounds like a very nice place. Do you have any digital photos you would like to share with us?
This is how you can show photos in your post.

Sure do. As soon as I work it all out I will post them for you. I have a lot on the beaches.
Can't wait to see them! Maybe if I could see some of your beaches, I would make a visit and have a swim in one of your beaches. I love swimming a lot!
I am from Merewether, Newcastle. It's great meeting someone from the same town. Merewether is right on the beach in Newcastle. I have been lucky to be brought up all my life across the road from Merewether Beach on the coast line. The beach is fantastic. If you would like to see some photos of the beach and Newcastle city go to this site you will really like it.

I know Merewether well Aimz. The easiest way to see the city of Newcastle is on board the Newcastle Famour Tram which leaves the railway station on the hour daily. It is not a true tram, rather a bus decked up to look like a tram, but the seating is comfortable, the view is excellent and the driver gives an informative running commentary.
