Top NOT TO DO things when you are visiting India
- Do not drink or brush your teeth with unboiled tap water
- Do not drink beverages that contain ice made from unboiled tap water
- Do not eat unpeeled fruit, and peel fruit yourself before eating it
- Do not eat raw vegetables
- Do not eat or drink unpasteurized dairy products
- Do not eat undercooked fish or shellfish (including seviche) or meat

Well, why INDIA?
What about Africa?
I generally don't do these things when travelling....
Is this because of the water quality in India was poor?
Also how do we know the ice made from boiled tap water.
How about salad with raw vegetables?
Does this means the fishes and the meat is unsafe in India due to the cooking style. Hmmm... i think Indian dishes is better than Indonesian dishes.

Good Idea. Neither do I. When travelling to Peru, I was even careful eating boiled foods, as the water boils at much lower temperatures at altitudes of 4000m. Even so, we did have a lot of stomach problems.
There is no better way to loose weight than getting really sick though

Is it because you are not comfortable / not use to the food? Or the water quality is poor.
Extra Tips: Bring your own medicine.

I don't mind foreign foods. In fact I love to try new things. Must have been the water used for cooking. It was rather bad the first few days in the Colca Canyon area (very high). Despite the usual (diarrhea, stomach cramps ...) we got the really nasty tasting and smelling burps (sulfur taste and smell).
We did have our own medicine, but we got this from eating Peruvian foods at a restaurant. We had bought a whole bunch of meds, but mostly to treat injury, since we were doing some hiking. We also had water purification tablets, but we did not use them as you can buy bottled water everwhere there.

Although one has to be careful about what to say or not in public, her it goes:
I have heard that the heavy use of curry came to be, since the spices tend to kill bacteria.

Curry spices to kill bacteria?
That can't be. They just love curry. It's their culture. Talking about spices, I believe Thais use more hot spices than Indians. Try their "Tom Yam". Hot! Try that, you face will smoke like a train. Yuuuummm!.
I just love it.
I had read about the some spices in the curry can give benefit to our body. But please beware that too much spices will also harm our body since curry usually boil with fatty meat which is actually unhealthy to consume it in long run.
India is a country which have the most spices in the world. Don't believe it? Just google for the answer.
Also the curry or chili can cure the flu/cold too.
That's why Indian cooking is still better compare to Indonesian cooking. Their cooking style is limited. If you ever live at Indonesia, you would know what i'm trying to talk about. Most of the food is grill. And the vegi is burn with the nutritious lost during the cooking process. The drink's is too sweet which is unhealthy to us if consume in long run.
Personally, I don't try to let down other countries' way of cooking or the selection of food. It will depend on the culture of the place on how they eat their food. If you don't like the food they are eating, then don't eat them. Anyway, in every major city there are always international restaurants that can serve your own food. And I guess McDonalds can be found in every city in the world.
Asian foods are generally spicy, whether you go to Korea, India, Indonesia, Thailand, the Middle East, or wherever in Asia, the food being prepared will be spicy. So before they will cook the food, tell them not to put so much spice in your food.
