Edinburgh, ScotlandEdinburgh is one of my favorite destinations in Europe. It's a fabulous to visit during one of the exciting summer festivals, but it's also a great place for a weekend getaway. Edinburgh is even fine for an off-season retreat, provided you bring warm clothes. Between the attractions in the Old Town and New Town, you feel as if you're visiting two destinations, yet it's incredibly easy to get around in and between both areas.

Kruger National ParkIf you've ever dreamed of going on an African safari adventure, you'll probably be surprised to discover how easy it is to arrange one. I decided to make Kruger National Park in South Africa the focal point of my safari, and it was a wonderful experience from start to finish.

You can plan and arrange an African safari at Kruger National Park in several ways. You may wish to arrange a safari that lasts several days and includes accommodations within the Park as part of a guided safari tour. You could also choose to stay in accommodations you book yourself just outside the Park. You can then take the safari tour of your choice within the Park, or explore it on your own via your Rental Car.

The American Southwest is a Treasure Cove of Archeology. Many historical sites are located throughout the four-corner states (Arizona, Utah, Colorado, and New Mexico). History buffs will love to go on a themed road trip and the rest of us should at least include some of them in our itinerary. For a photographer like me, those places offer fantastic opportunities to create unique photos.

KashmirMillions of tourists visit Jammu Kashmir every year to see its fascinating tourist destinations, exotic wildlife and heritage sights. Jammu Kashmir, situated in northern India has been famous for its natural beauty since time immemorial and has been aptly described as "Heaven On Earth".
Formerly one of the largest princely states of India, it is bounded to the northeast by the Uygur Autonomous Region of Xinjiang and to the east by the Tibet, to the south by the states of Himachal Pradesh and Punjab, and to the northwest and west by the Pakistani-administered portion of Kashmir. The administrative capitals are Srinagar in summer and Jammu in winter.
The city of Jammu is known for its temples, Srinagar is famous for its houseboats while Kashmir is known for its scenic beauty. Kashmir has often been referred to as "The Switzerland of the East". Some of the major pilgrimage centers of the nation are located in Jammu Kashmir, the two most important being Amarnath cave and Vaishno Devi shrine.

To my rightIf you like to take photographs, India is the kind of place you dream about. There are multiple pictures on every corner, down every street, and next to every wall. Magnificent buildings in carved red stone rise before your eyes, painted elephants bathe in the river, and cows wander into people’s houses.

If you like to take photographs, India is a nightmare. Only the buildings stay put, and after a while you expect them to move, too. No matter where you look, there’s a shot. And there’s another to the left, and to the right. Settle on the original, and it’s gone. Shift back to the alternates, and they have also disappeared.
