As with all forms of communication, a proper polite tone is required.

Right now the forum is not moderated. I intend to leave it this way as it is my firm belief, that our users will show themselfes to be responsible and considerate. Our main goal is unbiased information. For this we try not to censor any postings. A few rules have to be followed however.

• Make sure your postings are not offensive. Often, when a discussion heats up, it can get out of hand. Please read your posting (Preview) before actually sending it. If you are upset about a previous posting, take 5 minutes before writing a reply.
• If you feel that others are using being rude and not subjective, report them in the "Report Abuse" Forum. Do not reply in a rude way.
• Do not copy and paste copyrighted material. Everything posted in this forum should be either original or cited with a description of the source. Only cite short excerpts.
• Image material posted here should not be copyrighted or owned by the orignal poster. The copyright owner and orignal poster agree that his material is published here.
• Do not link to offensive content.
• Do not spam this board. Using your website URL in a signature is common practice. However, spamming this board with URL, especially to websites unrelated to the discussed topics, will lead to IP ban and deletion of your account. The same applies to leaving short comments just so you can post an URL for advertisement purposes. This is not a board for free advertisement but a community for travelers.
