See Buenos Aires in a different way!
I had such a good experience with an organization in Buenos Aires recently. They asked me to spread their good word so here I go:
When I travel I don´t especially care to see all the prime tourist spots. I want to see what life, culture, art, and history is really like where I go.
In Buenos Aires, I found an awesome way to do that.
I took a free guided tour from an organization called Cicerones de Buenos Aires. It´s a nonprofit that wants to improve what foreigners think of the city. They offer free tours and travel information.
My ¨Cicerone¨ volunteer tour guides took me to see a tango show in a ¨barrio¨ (district) less traveled. We walked around the area, ate dinner, than watched the show. I swear I didn´t see a single tourist where we were!
Their multilingual Web site at <http://www.cicerones.org.ar/> has all the info you need. Complete the online form to request a free tour!

Thanks for sharing. I did numerous free walking tours when i was in europe and it was a great way to get an overview of the city and discover those places that no guide book could ever take you to. will look into this for my trip to Buenos Aires.
