Tsanamia Warning
There is a very great danger of a Tsanamia hitting the North East Coast of Australia this morning. Pretty scary. Parts of Cairns have been put on warning and some people have moved to higher grounds. An earthquake on the Soloman Island's has coast the warnings and water levels on the coast are rising.
Now this morning they have even closed all the beache's here in Newcastle on the New South Wales Coast as water levels have been rising. There has been no evacuation's as yet but they are playing it safe.
Amazing, I always thought that Tsunamis are moving faster.
They are moving fast, but the distances they travel are really big. If you are too close to where the earthquake occurred there is not much chance for a warning.
