Fiji Cancelation
My daughter had booked a cruise to take on the 8th of January they where going to Fiji. This has now been changed and they will not be going there. Is anyone else worried about traveling to Fiji at the moment?
I think you did the right thing. I would wait for things to stabilize.
There are many places one can go and if you have the choice there is no sense of putting yourself in danger (even though I don't think its really dangerous).

My girlfriend just got back from 10 days at the Shangri La Fijian with her family. They had a great time, it was nice and quiet (the hotel was at about 40% capacity).
The country is desperate for tourism - I wouldn't have been too concerned.
They even got photo's and video next to armed soldiers, who were happy for this to happen (if just for a little while)
