Explore Australia By Rail
A great way to explore Australia is by rail, and The Sunlander from Brisbane to Cairns is a classic trip. Price varies on the accommodation class you choose. Take a look at more information at www.railaustralia.com.au. These trips are really worth while taking.

I have always wanted to go to Australia, but have not cot the chance to go yet. But when I do I will look into seeing it by rail. It sounds like the way to go. Thank you for your information.
I've wanted to do Adelaide-Perth ever since I met someone who had just finished the trip. He said it wasn't exciting, but he loved sitting in the train and watching the kangaroos bounce by.
I have heard it is a long journey. And you have to be the type who can sit still for long periods.
It's not the most stimulating train ride ever... It's nice though, if you're into that kind of thing.
It's been raining off and on for days, which is great for the drought but the kids arent' as understaning. With the end of the school holidays upon us, I'm looking for a change of scenery and something to keep both kids and adults amused. We decide
to take a short break and check out the Grand Pacific Drive, the stunning stretch of highway between Sydney's Royal National Park, through Wollongong and and Kiama to jervis Bay.
I think it is worth noting there is no rail network connecting Sydney to Canberra or Melbourne, going south. And as far as I know you can't go north from Sydney to Brisbane. How ever flights are pretty cheap, if you shop around they are about 80$AUS return to either from Sydney.
