In Plymouth, MA not to far from Boston is Plimouth Plantation. A replica of the first settlement of Immigrants in North America complete with actors who live there and go about their daily chores. If you ever wanted to get a glimpse into the past, I highly recommend this place.
Go for the double ticket that lets you see the Mayflower II (perfect replica of the Mayflower that brought the first settlers). Actors also inhabit the Mayflower II and tell some wonderful stories:
