historic cities in Canada

i usually take my History students to Quebec City every year because there are many fun, interactive museums and tours.  I'd like to try something different. What other cities can you think of that are rich in History and are kid- friendly?

If you ever take a trip to Victoria BC. We have the Royal BC Museum that explores British Columbia's natural and human histories. They also have famous touring displays like Whales, Leonardo da Vinci and Titanic just to name a few.
