Looking for a country where its legal to set up a tent anywhere
Hi, my names Erick. I was wondering if anyone had any ideas of places where i could go and maybe set up a tent just outside a city or even in for free or real cheep. is there anywhere u know of?
I am pretty sure that you can do this in Canada and in some places in the US on land that is not private. But campgrounds in the US are generally very cheap and assuming you have the money to visit the country, you should have enough spare change for $10/day campground fees?
At least you would have a shower and a toilet.
Interesting question though, wonder if we get some more suggestions.

Andre is right that at least in the US there are tons of campgrounds that are inexpensive and offer amenities such as hot showers, pools, ect.
There are also plenty of places that you can camp for free. There is a beach near where I live that lets you camp for free and also in the mountains there are free camp grounds.
I am quite possibly sure that you are not looking for a country where you can set up your tent because we can suggest a country here and maybe too far away from where you are right now or you can't afford to go there.
Anyhow its your best bet to just go to a campsite andpay the fee which is mostly cheap anyways.
