Oasis, a discount airline which started out with a London-Hong Kong run, is expanding. They will start a Vancouver-Hong-Kong route in June. Has anyone flown them? What was it like? It's one thing to take a discount flight for two or three hours, another to take one for ten.
I admit that the back-of-seat TV absolutely made my Atlanta/Seoul flight last year. I could watch movies when I wanted, play a few games, sleep. The only thing I had to do on a schedule was eat.
I used to not care, just so the flight was cheap (Aeroflot, KL to Copenhagen, $350 back in the 90's), but now I want some extras, too.
