Frequent Flyer Miles changes
Do any of you use frequent flyer miles? If so, you've noticed that they become worth less each year. I remember flying round-trip to Asia for 40,000 miles, and for my last trip I needed 60,000. And now I'd need 70,000. It can be impossible to get seats, too.
The latest wrinkle is to expire miles if you have not had activity for 18 months rather than three years.
The airlines call these programs 'loyalty programs', but how loyal are you going to be if the miles are worth less and less?

Thats the reason why I don't have a credit card with miles benefits but with cashback. Cash never expires and I can buy a ticket or whatever else I want.
My only credit card miles come from my American Express cards. I got most of my miles by flying, switching phone companies, and watching for specials. I'm about out of miles, though, now that I only take a couple of flights per year and I'm not in the US to play games with my phone service and other such things.
