Hi cameronaggarwal, I am from Australia and I can tell you there are many really great places to visit in Australia. I live in New South Wales although we have many beautiful country towns I must say my favourite State would have to be Queensland. Queensland is the sunshine state of Australia. There is so many interesting places to visit and things to do. The beaches are beautiful. The Gold Coast is a must as well as the Great Barrier Reef and Cairns. You can find some great articles on Australia and Queensland here at OT try http://www.opentravelinfo.com/area/australia-and-oceania/australia/queensland.html
Hey. Couldn't help notice you are travelling Down Under. Well out of all the places, I would seriously suggest you to go to Alice Springs. Located in the outback, Alice is a wonderful place which well show the Australia in the truest sense. Hours away from the Ayers Rock, Alice is conveniently located around a lot of other places that might be of interest to you.
Alice Springs is alive with great cafes and thriving galleries, but while you can find that in just about any Australian city, the Alice also offers a wealth of bush characters and more adventure than you can poke a stick at.
We had the opportunity to enjoy a balloon flight. It is the perfect way to appreciate the vastness, remoteness and spectacular dawn colours of the Australian Outback wildlife and particularly kangaroos, are seen nearly every day as the balloon floats above. Although scary at first I would not have missed this adventure.
You must visit the sidney opera house and the warner bros theme park. They have a cool harry potter store and merchandise of all kinds of warner bros movies. There are some seasonal events that you can google first so you will come at the right time
Hi i live in the New South Wales. depends on how many days of trip you have. if its a short term go to melbourne. if your looking for that adventure thingee give it to queensland.
Yes, visit the great barrier reef. Snorkel in crystal clear waters with schools and schools of fish. Brisbane is great for surf and sun. Best nightlife is in Melbourne then Sydney.
Situated on Australia's south east coast Sydney is also called The
Harbour City. It's home to many tourist attractions and famous
landmarks and it's also filled with culture and variety.

You'll find more tourists in Sydney... if you choose to visit sydney rather than melbourne it wont be a regret.
I like Melbourne with its special breathe.
for me, my favorites are sydney, melbourne and newcastle
