Hi cindy nice to meet you!
They are called bus about they have just been here last week.
you can find more information about place to stay in Rome here:
http://twincities.altervista.org/
Nice find Twincities, I think thats the correct spelling:
Busabout
TT
Yes, that's it! Thank you. Any opinions? Experiences?
You can also check out Eurolines (eurolines.com), which travels to several major European cities at reasonable rates. I actually used them to go all the way from Prague to Lyon in France and it cost about 95 Euros.
Well, it's really good for traveling around Europe.
On Eurail.com you can buy a train ticket to go all around Europe, no limit.
I've seen many people changing Cities from day to day on a very tight budget by traveling 1 st or 2 nd class. You can also try to use it after having flown to one city and use it to go around there. For example: I flew from Barcelona to Rome cuz it's far, and once there i visited Naples , Florence, Siena, Palermo by train next week I'll fly to Amsterdam and I'll go around again by Eurail.
I agree with twincities1973.
I reccommend you Eurail though these days students traveller also take cheap flight, but
it's a kind of shame, because travel in the train, it takes more time and you have more time to encounter with new people.
I took once euroline bus from London to Barcelona, but I was not so confortable...
The rail passes have become really expensive. I don't think you can get the 2nd class ones unless you are under 26, and I'm 62, so I have to spring for first class. I worked it out once, and you have to take several really long rides to make them worthwhile. I'm no longer even thinking about Europe because of the dollar's slide. There is no way I could afford to travel there.
