Visit London from the comfort of your own home.
I'd love to visit London, but at the moment it is not really feasible. I have however been looking around London with all the great webcams that are dotted around the city. London eye, westminster, windsor castle and many more.
Ok, l realise it is not quite the same as physically being there, but you can really connect with the surroundings using the new IP webcams. See what has happening in and around London and keep tabs on the development of the city.

There are a few London webcams on this site and there are loads of other sites that have webcams too. Earthcam, Webcam-Index, WebcamWorld the list goes on. One thing is for sure they are really enjoyable and you can travel the world over within a few hours.
If you are planning a trip, check some webcams before you go!!

I've been checking out webcams ready for my trip to germany - I like to know what certain places look like to help me find my way around.
There's no substitute for visiting places though. I've seen big ben on TV tons of times, but when I actually went to that part of London recently, it looked a lot different (and bigger) in real life.
That's interesting. But, since I am taking my wife for a Honeymoon trip in London, I don't want to spoil the surprise for her. Maybe we can check that out after our trip, so we can have fun recalling events.
