Luxury travel to Italy
I have four business people that asked me to arrange them a ten days business trip to Italy and to recommend them some exclusive restaurants and wellness centers and to rent them a higher class car. The cities they are staying are Rome and Milan. I have trying to find web sites about recommended luxury accommodation and services for "deep pocket" travelers to Italy. I found some but nothing suitable. If there is somebody that have some suggestions please replay. Something like this web site about Croatia - luxurycroatia.com would be great.

Some travel company you are.
I will see what I can come up with.
Yes, and I said same to those four!
I’m not travel company. I ‘m secretary of one of those four. I have to arrange the trip.
Ah, sorry for the mix-up.
I think clients with deep pockets want individual attention. Just arrange the trip so they won't have to share anything with tourist crowds. Individual Airport pickup in a Limo, personal concierge ....
I guess this would be a good choice of hotel:
Hotel Hassler or: Hotel de Russie
(The de Russie has the best reputation)
I usually book my hotels here:
Hotels.com
(they have the best selection of hotels including luxurious hotels)
For general travel packages it may be worth checking out Travelocity but I am not sure if they have a lot of luxury stuff.
If I were you, I'd probably forget all the headaches and hire a guy like this:
conciergeinrome.com
The hotels I listed above also have a Concierge that can assist you with all your needs. They can get your bosses into rare shows or show them things most people don't know exist. It would probably be best to bombard them with your restaurant preferences. I am always hesitant to recommend anything, as tastes are so different.
Booking an Upper Class Rental Car shouldn't be so hard. Almost any rental car company has them. Again, I am not sure who your bosses are, but Italy is famous for the Ferrari and the Lamborghini, but those are far from luxurious, but if they are young they might prefer those.
In case you want luxury, go for a Mercedes S-class (German Car). If your bosses are super rich, get them a Bentley (English Car) or Maserati (Italian I believe).
There are many companies that offer luxury rentals (i simply searched for them), but I don't know if some of them are fraudulent or not. It would probably be best to call that concierge guy.
All of the above listed cars can be found here:
eliterental.com
Was that the information you were looking for?

You may want to thumb through one of those lux travel mags like CondeNast Traveler--they always suggest outrageous places to stay that are totally over-the-top for most pocketbooks!
I know you said Milan and Rome, but to be honest, Tuscany can really be a luxurious vacation. The charms of the Chianti vinyards, the exclusive VIP beach resorts of Forte Marme and Punta Ala, and obviously the 5 star hotels and restuarants of Florence make Tuscany a pretty desirable high end holiday! You can have an exclusive countryside villa www.agriturismo.net (you could arrange a car and a personal driver if you wanted to be transported from the villa to the cities etc) or for a 5* apartment, why not try www.lodging.it ? Lodging.it also has places in Rome I think? Although I never booked their apartments in Rome, I have used them before for my stays in Florence, and they're very nice!
I can't say enough good about the Hassler. It's one of my favorite hotels in the world!
I would suggest you to not looking for the ordinary travel website. Instead you should search something like "experience gift" or luxury first class life style. They have a wide choices from enjoy the F1 in monaco, to private jet
Trains are dirt cheap and very good in Italy, so I would recommend using those. I wouldn't bother with Car Rental in a country where public transport is so cheap and reliable.
A subject that is my forte, I hope I can help you.
In my mind, the most luxurious hotel in Rome is the St Regis, not the Hassler, but maybe thats personal taste!
However just opposite is the stately Exedra - it has exclusive restuarants and a spa, ideal for your clients.
For transfers and services, try a company like Vitaly, they are high profile and can get Palio tickets, limousines etc.
I dont buy the idea of trying public transport if you have high profile clients, having to drag your luggage from a busy Termini station to the hotel is something a backpacker should be doing...

Hi there kingbeem - thought i would reply by suggesting http://gekko.com as requested. Its a really good website for finding luxury accommodation and i'm sure it wont dissappoint you...I always use it.
regarding the transport - I don't advice to use the public one, because it's Italy and schedules are not so stricktly observed, so it could cause some inconveniences. There are lots of companies renting luxury cars with drivers, so I think this is the most appropriate options - you have a car and do not need to worry about now knowing the rouds etc.
