Hotel in Paris
My Paris Hotel
HI everybody,
I have noticed that there are some pretty down to earth and experienced travel people using this forum and therefore asking for some good advise for a decent mid-ranged hotel in Paris for July to stay. My budget is around 80,- Euro a night and I would like to be in a good but central and lively area. So the thing is I haven't been albe to go to Paris for 2 years although I lived there for two years a while a go and visited it many times as a backpacker mostly. So my knowledge about Paris accommodation in particular, good and well priced hotels is a bit limited. Thanks for your comments.
Tom

There are many hotels in paris but choosing the right one is never been easy. You can get many Cheap hotels in Paris.
I will suggest the same things to you that I suggested to the person talking about hotels in Rome. If you are not so comfortable with hostels, go for a B&B. You are more likley to get more authentic contact with locals and to get slightly lower prices than in a hotel. You should also check out eurocheapo.com for hotels in major European capitals. You may find siomething for around 60-70 euros and you'll find reviews of the hotels as well.
Also do some research into apartments you can rent while in paris. I love hotels and prefer them but on a couple of longer stays, I've opted for cheaper flats and they're actually fun. You get much more a sense of how Parisians live too.
You can save some money by arranging your meal plan. There are some place where you can get a cheap and delicious meal, so you have an extra money to pay the hotel fees
Planning for vacations has never been an easy task. It requires lots of
quality time to enquire and investigate to get a really good deal and
not being cheated. Most of the time we have limited budget and we have
to manage our expenses with great care. I've found lastminutetravel.com
a great help in this matter. It offers various ranges to choose from
and makes our task hassle free and quick enough.
Hi,
Most of the Paris hotels offer easy access to the main business,
shopping, sightseeing and entertainment venues of the city. After
getting to the fascinating city, the travelers can also visit the
famous places of interests such as the Eiffel Tower, Opera Garnier,
Notre Dame Cathedral, Sacre Coeur, Arc de Triomphe, Chateau de
Versailles.
Hey
I would agree with Vicki2...you should look into staying into an apartment while you're in paris. I used to mostly stay in budget hotels until I tried renting out apartments when I travelled, and I found this to be a better experience and it was usually cheaper as well. I can give you some site suggestions to look into. For paris I like these sites:
http://www.paristay.com/
This site is also good- their apartments are pretty modern looking and seem to be quite central:

And if you're really looking for something cheaper I think this site has good deals:

I usually just rent an apartment when I travel now, so I don't really have any particular recommendations for hotels but I hope this helps!
