Holiday Suggestions

I am planning a holiday to go somewhere in Europe (possibly Spain) from Leeds, UK to go next month and would like to find anyone with information or tips that might help me out?

I want to go towards April 1st for a week.

Can anyone give me some recommendations about where to go? Suggestions?

Thanks in advance.

Portugal

I actually like southern Portugal even more (Algarve).

In Spain I would defenitely visit Barcelona.

It has a beautiful old town and an active night life.

I once went to the Dali Museum in Figuera (near Barcelona). I highly recommend it.

Otherwise I'd probably check out Madrid and Seville, depending what area you will be.

Maybe you could let me know what your interests are and what area of Spain you are interested in?

It depends where would like to go. Barcelona, Sevilla, Cordoba,...sea or mountains...

For me i prefer Morocco. Before i used to go to spain long time ago.

always happy to help

Since you are from the UK,

Since you are from the UK, you probably would appreciate some sun.  What about one of the islands in the Mediterranean?  Or southern Italy?

Why don't you visit Barcelona !?

Have you decided already?

I reccommend you visit Barcelona and the Spanish coast.

-beach, good weather.

-arquitecture(Gaudi and modernism...)

-museums(Picasso, Miro, Dali etc...)

-tapas and good wines.

-clubs (nice music...)

If you love beaches party,

If you love beaches party, you should try holiday ibiza beach one of the best beach party places in spain.

Well, if you are looking

Well, if you are looking for a hotel to stay in, here are some options. First one is better if you're on a budget, second one is good if you plan to spend quite a bit.

Option 1

Option 2

The others already gave their suggestion on where to go, but I would also suggest Madrid. There are museums there like the Prado museum which is worth the visit.

Make sure you know which

Make sure you know which country that you want to visit, then you search some good and cheap hostel, which is cheaper than a hotel. You can also find a good tourist bus and buy a full-trip ticket to make sure you're on the right track

Palma de Mallorca

How about Palma de Mallorca, Spain?

Beautiful island, plenty of nature and great nightlife. We were there last spring and had the time of our lives. I think it's really a good choice whether you're traveling alone or with family/friends.

Good luck!

Yeah ! Make sure you

Spain is mainly famous for its bull game. If you are planning to go there then don't miss that game to make your tour a real memorable tour.

Thanks for giving me your tips....

Cyprus, Larnaca

I adore Larnaca, Cyprus. Of course, that is why I recomend you to visit this destination. It is a very beautiful place with amazing landscapes and beaches!

Best place for holidays

I agree with Andre that Algarve region in Portugal is very nice. There are beautifull beaches with lots of things to do and enjoy (surfing, diving) and people are very friendly and communicative. The best way to enjoy your trip to algarve is to arrive in Faro and take a car hire Faro Airport to be independent on public transport which is quite poor in off season. Then you can travel around all the awsome beaches and lovely towns.

Ljubljana

Have you considered going somewhere a bit diffrent then to spain and the usally destinations ?? why not try the hottest secret in Europe Slovenia. A beautifull country , with everything and more you would expect.I decided to live here i like it so much.

For travelling and

For travelling and holidays, you should choose the hotel having good environment, services and good stay. I have visited Tel Aviv hotels last month in my israel tour and it seems to be the best example for the hotels providing such a wonderful stay.

It's a very large country,

It's a very large country, but I wouldn't say avoid anything. Do what
you like, be wary of pickpockets. Great art history and architecture in
Madrid/Barcelona. They are great cosmopolitan cities. The south gets
very hot in the summer, you may want to avoid that. There are some
beautiful green mountains in the north and northwest, if that interests
you. And the beaches are great, but Spain is a cultural mecca, I
recommend enjoying that part before beaches. The nightlife is amazing,
also.

where to go in Europe

Hi, I have some suggestions. Spain sounds very good but maybe instead of going to such a popular place you'll choose something different? I'm thinking about Poland, which has also beautiful beaches and mountains and other wonderful places to see. While beeing there you shoul definitely visit Cracow, and if you're looking for accomodation you should stay in Aston Hostel, which is very cheap and situated in walking distance to the city centre.

Turkey

Spain is great, but its quite a boring place compared to some really stunning places such as Tunisia, Croatia or Turkey. The Plitvice Lakes in Croatia are unbelievable (like the Nigeria Falls broken up and scattered across miles of Mediterranean forest), and places like the Blue Mosque in Istanbul in Turkey are jaw-dropping, check out some photos of them on Google. Seriously incredible amounts of detail.

Have fun whatever you do!
