I don't think you will drive. They load your car onto a train and you will ride in the train compartment. I doubt you will be able to or even want to get out of a speeding train.

When I used the tunnel a couple of years ago I had to drive into the train compartment myself and it was possible to get out of your car and walk around in the train. I believe it also had a toilet facility.
