Any experience with China airlines from Europe to Asia?
Hi
I'm thinking about going to Thailand in May and I have started checking up prices for flights. The cheapest option seems to be China Airlines. I have never used them before so I'm not really sure what to expect. Has anyone got any recent experience with this airliner? Is there enough legroom? What is the service like on economy? Is there a personal TV screen in each seat?

From what I read:

It sounds better to stay away from this.
I think it depends on what you expect. I find them quite acceptable as a carrier and if it saves me money. What is a few hours of discomfort compared to the money saved that you can spend on your trip.
Hi
I got the tickets even cheaper flying SAS and Thai Airways So now I'm set to go to Thailand in May. I googled out an airline information directory www.flightpositive.com It gives comprehensive information about air travel.
I've met a couple of people who said they weren't bad. A friend used to use them years ago, and took advantage of the stopover in Taiwan. He would visit for three or four days each way. They don't charge extra for the stopover.
