Which Grandstand for the Singapore F1 GP?

Which grandstand would you guys recommend for the 2009 Singapore grandprix? I'm looking for tickets that don't cost too much but I'm not inclined for the walkabout pass.
Also, can anyone recommend a decent hotel (2-3 stars, clean, with aircon, hot water, tv) either near the circuit or near orchard road?

I got several friends who went there last year and they swear that walkabout is the best thing if you are on the budget because some or most grandstand tickets are either overpriced or the view isn't that good.

During the 2008 F1, I sat

During the 2008 F1, I sat at the Bay grandstand. Because of the long stretch, u can have good spot for photography. Plus it has an amazing view of the marina. It's also facing the floating platform.
