I think going four-wheeling with my family and friends is a lot of fun.  The best parts are the climbing the hills and traversing the rocks.

I'd have to say a good road trip works me - last year we went from the east to the west coast and back and the best bit was that it was an adventure and then when we got to our destinatons - we picked great hotels and relaxed ... i'd suggest htpp://gekko.com with help with hotels and restaurants. However, othr then that it was such a great experinece
