Travelling in Thailand

I am travelling alone in Thailand, currently in Phuket. I found a great guest house to stay at in Phuket, very safe, anyone have any suggestions for Bangkok and Chang Mai ?

I stayed at a wonderful guest house in Chiang Mai called Smile House, I loved it there and they have a pool, it's right at the moat....I was also travelling alone.....Good Luck

A friend of mine stayed at Banyan Tree in Bangkok after winning an auction for a week's stay. She was pretty delighted by the place, if I remember correctly.

Should you be interested, I stayed at the Same Same Guest House, Patong Beach www.samesamephuket.com and would highly recommend it.
