Travelers,
First off, thanks for all of the advice for Myanmar traveling. If you have any sites that we must see, let us know!
As we wait for our visas, though, we will be hanging around Bangkok, and for anyone in or passing through in the next few days, we are looking to meet up with some people and get you on camera for our website Vlogabond.com. We'll be around the prolific Khao San Road area, so let us know if you are at all intrigued. I'd say we would buy the beers, but we are cheap...

I've been debating about whether to stop in Bangkok on my way south, but have decided against it. I'm getting out of Northern Thailand before the really hot season gets here. I'll set up for a few months in either Penang (Malaysia) or Lake Toba (Sumatra, Indonesia), but on the way down the peninsula I was thinking about seeing how much Banglamphu had changed. Then it occurred to me I could spend that time at the beach...

Hm. You make it sound so incredibly tempting. I guess you need to work on your closing arguments a bit.
