This New Year, I hiked from Mohe country to North Polar Village, which is North Point of China, feeling the very cold temperature and the first warm sunslight of the New Year. So excited trip.
And I have been Yunnan, Southwest of China, hiking along Tiger Leap Gorge and Lugu Lake and around Meili Mountain. yeah, and hiking around Paradise Grassland in snow and wind. How to describe these places? I want to say: Paradise in Heaven! That's it! I am so sure about that!
My most hiking trips were planned around Beijing. like across Hutong street, across the center axis of Beijing, hiking across Yellow Grass Crest to Ling Mountain and so on.
I will upload my hiking storiesand pictures in this forum recently and hope that i can lear from your hiking experiences.
I love your avatar. Its cute.
I have been to your sites, but I don't understand Chinese.
Your trip defenitely sounds very exciting. How long have you been doing this and how can you afford to do this for such a long time?
Do you actually live and work in China?

As for my Chinese websites, I will edit some new site in English only for your convinence. Please await some days, do not hurry....
I have been being addiction with hiking for about several years, and mostly, I planned and implemented my trips within the time frame of my weekend and public holidays. Anyway, if you would arrange your time properly, then you could get them more and extend your life and promote the quality of your life... hihi....
Yeah, you are right, I LIVE and WORK in China, in Beijing. Welcome to Beijing, aha...
No need to make a special site for me. I go through http://translate.google.com .
I used to hike a lot myself. Now I am only going for walks (just about every day a few miles to keep from getting fat).
Most of the time I go on road trips now (wrote an article about road trips). Whenever there is good weather, I like to pull out the convertible and go somewhere.
I do a lot of photography and often this requires me to hike to some places. I am still kicking my butt for not taking the Inca Trail in Peru, but I didn't know if I would have problems with the altitude. I did a lot of hiking anyways.
I voted for hiking in the sports thread anyways. I am not as fit anymore as I used to be when I was in the army. Back then I could hike 10 hours straight and not even feel tired.
