Boracay / Philippines

Boracay / Philippines

Whenever you have a chance to visit the Philippines I recommend also to visit Boracay. According to Yahoo Travel Boracay is number 7 of the Worlds best beaches:

Boracay is 7.5 kilometers long and 2 kilometers wide.

And .. indeed .. the powder-fine white sand, the crystal clear blue warm ocean and the sunset is amazing ! There are many activities like boat trips, diving, horseback riding, sailing etc. Also enough offers for nightlife .. bars, pubs, restaurants around Station 1 - 2 area. All type and rates for accomodation available .. from cottage to ***** Resort. I stayed at the more quiet area at Station 3 in a small private, cheap resort ; but there are more resorts around that area like Orchids, Bora Bora, Dave Strawhats ...

One more hint .. In January is the world famous ati-atihan festival :

Don`t miss it !

Absolutely stunning

Been there once and I love it. We went just before summer so it won't be too crowded and the place is really great. The people are nice and the food is cheap not to mmention very good too.

Definitely I would recommend it to my friends and hopefully  I can go back next  year.

Looks good

Wow nice view and nice beach too.

mabuhay!!!! I am living in Iloilo Province of the Philippines where Boracay island is located. My Bora memory is still fresh because Ive been there just recently. Its my second time to go there and I really really love the place and would love to come back there again and again. What makes my vacation there more memorable is because I'm with my friends this time along with my two other sisters. My first time was with my sister's barkada (friends) and I was still young then. The group really had fun with the great scenes of the Island. We never get tired of walking along the seashore and feast our eyes with different sites in the beach. Personally, I never get enough of bathing in the crystal clear water even under the scorching heat of the sun. I got sunburned all over but its all worth it. At night, we rummage along the stretch of bars in the island and we settled in one bar with a cool band playing reggae songs. One of my friends even went up stage and sing reggae version of a song entitled Tattooed in my Mind which the audience applauded afterwards. We stayed for only three days but we really had fun.

I am inviting all you guys to come and visit the island. God bless!!
