My favourite destination in Asia is Bali. Even though we where there when the Bali bombers caused all the distruction. I love Bali for the shopping also. Ubud is great for this they have lovely quirky boutiques in Ubud, but if you're more a budget traveller and don't have much time, then head straight for the market (while prices may be cheaper for certain items at other markets, this is almost a one-stop-shopping).

At the market, take your pick on rattan stuff - bags, baskets, placemats; tissue box holders made of coconut husk, rattan, etc; sarongs, pareos, batik, masks, bags, salt and pepper shakers. Think crafts, home and decor. There are clothes as well at the market, but you can find these same clothes in the markets in Kuta. Remember to negotiate the price!

Cambodia is the best place to go!

My friends and I visited Cambodia last month. We've got this impression "WOW" because nightlife and entertainment in Cambodia was very very fun and amazing. India is great after dark - cool hangouts, their kerosene lamps, interesting people, nice disco bars and restaurants.. Thou it was only a month but we had experienced their culture and different events and meet Indian people. Overall experience, it was really fun, enjoyable, adventurous and cool.
