I had a two refueling stops there on the way to and from South Africa in 1982.  What I remember was seeing Cuban soldiers being loaded on a plane for Angola, and the world's worst orange soda.   But when I asked the flight attendants about their layovers there, they loved the place.  Beautiful beaches, apparently.

Is sad that some of the most beauty full palces in the world do not have freedom , I feel that we have to look up to Bono and try and do some thing like what he is done

Well most of African nation are best to travel if everything going well and you can see some of the best places in Africa but they don't have stable goverments and everytime they faced problems due to this. Otherwise it would be one of the best part of the world.
