Playing for Australia (one day)
My 15 year old son has just been picked to play for the State of New South Wales, Australia in Cricket. Apparently he is pretty young for this. His dream is to one day play for Australia. He plays in Bowral NSW this weekend. Bowral is the home of the famous Australian Cricketer Sir Donald Bradman.

Congratulations. I hope he makes it. Maybe you won't have to work ever again after that
.
All the best and good luck with his games.
Whats your sons name? Maybe we should remember it ;)
All the best with the games. Hopefully he will win. If not remember, loosing is only temporary until you win again.

Thanks Andre. My son's name Is Matt . He has just been picked again this weekend to play in the under 21 Northern NSW rep team. We are off to Sawtell In New south Wales. He is pretty young as all the team besides him are all 20 or 21 he is only 16. By the way they won the game in Bowral a couple of weeks ago and because of this his name is getting known. Only thing is he sometimes thinks he is Adam Gilchrist (Australian Wicketkeeper) we have to bring him down to earth sometimes LOL. Matt is a Speacilized wicketkeeper/bat. A lot of our travelling at the moment is with Cricket, but at least we still get to travel.
Yeah, sounds exciting. I wouldn't worry about his attitude though. It only takes one loosing game to bring that down, but I can imagine it must feel pretty good playing with the big boys and winning.

It does Andre , we have to remind him sometimes who he really is. But he isnt a big headed boy he just likes to pretend to be sometimes. He is hoping to travel to England in the Australian off season when he turns eighteen. This should be a great oppitunity for him. Cricket wise and travel wise.
That is great. Congratulations to him. I know he has to be really happy about that.
