How about the choice between a amazon.com gift certificate ($20 changed to $35)  or a print of one of my pictures. I realized that even though the second is worth more, many may prefer the cash value of a gift certificate.

To make it a bit more interesting, you also need to state the final score and the second place. A later entry that that has the correct second team will win, even if someone else has stated the winner correct but not the second team. Then again whoever gets closest to the final score can still win by being closer than anyone else.

No more bets after the first round. Entry is open to everyone. Just one bet per person. You can change your bets until the second round starts.

Somehow I get the feeling you have a gambling problem . Next time I will require everyone to write a travel article to participate

The 1st round ended yesterday (22nd)
Main round starts tomorrow (24th)

Now, there are only 12 countries left out of 24 !!!!!
They form 2 groups (see below) and play against each other,

(unless they have already played a certain country in the 1st round.example: Poland and Germany in Main Round Group I: Poland beat Germany 27:25 in first round, that's why Poland starts with  2 points in the main round whereas Germany  starts with -2.)
