Do you have any permanent souvenirs?

I have a permanent souvenir in the form of a scar that I got on Frasier Island, in Australia.  One of the things you do is sort of body surf down a creek.  I didn't quite dodge a branch.

Minor

A couple of minor scars, one above my lips, but nothing too dramatic.

I guess I got away pretty clean considering that I don't really pay attention all the time.

I consider my memories to be permanent souvenirs (at least as long as they won't fade).

Hm

Well, I have my pictures and some stuff I bought, but none of it is really permanent.

What do you understand under permanent souvenirs? Just scars or something I bought and consider permanent?

Something you really can't

Something you really can't get rid of.  Malaria, a child, scars, a psychosis.

Interesting that you should mention this. I once ran on the pool, fell and knocked my two front teeth out. Fortunately those were my baby teeth, but I also bled pretty good.

I still have a small scar on my upper lip, but if you don't know it you don't see it (completely forgot about it until now).

I have a scar above my eye (got hit by a tree branch when play fighting) and a bunch of scars everywhere (mostly hands and knees, as I am always landing on my hands and feet like a cat when I fall).

None of them were obtained through travel though. I guess I just played pretty rough in my youth and become pretty docile now.

I dont exactly have many

I dont exactly have many scars, mainly my memories (But old age will get those soon) and some souvenirs. Over time I think that alot of this stuff I will forget about, but then I can allways go back.

But it won't be the same

But it won't be the same when you go back.  Your memories and photos are a snapshot in time.  I came back to two old favorite places this year, and one had changed unbelievably.

Pics and Videos

I never failed to my digicams on my side, I store them on my PC or upload them on my blogs.
