Hello from Kentucky
Hello everyone! I am a very happily married grandfather (and soon to be a father once again) living in Kentucky and have just found this forum today. I love to travel around and see different places. I have been as far south as Florida and Texas, as far north as Canada and Connecticut and as far west as Missouri. I have also been to many places on the east coast. My outdoor hobbies are fishing, hiking and camping. I actually spent an entire summer some years back camping and hiking in different places throughout Kentucky. The Red River Gorge area and the Daniel Boone National Forest are great places to spend time.
Holy Cow, you guys must have a lot of power outages and cold winter months in Kentucky
Well, it may get colder than it does out in California, but were not actually that far north. As for power outages I havent had any trouble with that for a few years. We did have an actual ice storm about 4 or 5 years ago. Thousands of homes were without electricity for over a week! Whew! That was a cold one!
