Hello from Alberta!

Just wanted to say hello to everyone! I currently live in Canada, Alberta, (And no its not cold) and love to travel. Cant wait to get to know some of you!

Canadians have a whole

Canadians have a whole other view of cold that doesn't relate to what the rest of us call cold.  Vancouver is the only place with a reasonable climate, I think.  Everywhere else regularly hits temperatures like -34 Celsius, or -40, or worse in the winter.

Well in Alberta, average

Well in Alberta, average temperature is -20C in winter, and +30C in the summer. Today is cold and clody, but the past week has been +40. Dont go thinking we live in Igloo's eh?

Worse

I guess thats even worse then. I am not used to an average difference in temperature of 50degC. So basically in the Summer its hot (and humid?) and in the winter its really cold.

The average Sunnyvale (in California) is below 30degC even in Summer.
