Hello, everyone

Hi, I'm Calypso. I'm a medical social worker and a freelance writer. One of my favorite hobbies is travel. Since I don't have a partner at this point in my life, I usually travel alone or with my parents or sisters. Being on one's own has both benefits and drawbacks, but I actually tend to like the freedom. My all time favorite travel destination is Las Vegas, but I've been many other places as well. Currently looking forward to an Alaskan cruise the family is planning to take in June.

 I'd also really like to go to Philadelphia. The last time I went, I was a stupid kid and completely missed the historical significance. I'd like to go again now that I know a little bit more about the city's fascinating history.

 I look forward to meeting all of you!

nice to meet you.

I have been to Las Vegas a few times, but I don't really like it that much as a travel destination. Somehow I cannot relate to everything being an artificial facade.

I have been in Philadelphia last year. I really liked the city, although I have been there for only half a day. There is lots of things to see.

Alaskan cruise...that sounds awesome. That's one place I'd really like to see. Have fun and I'm looking forward to your stories. Wink

I visited Philadelphia not that long ago and though I can't say much about the city in general, I really liked the historic park and downtown. I just loved wandering through the streets and discovering one piece of history after another. I am sure you will love it once you go back.
