A Spectacular Choice for Niagara Falls Accommodations in Canada
|
If you’ve ever thought you might enjoy a trip to Niagara Falls in Ontario, make this the year you finally go. Not only are the Falls spectacular, there are many interesting attractions right around the area you can also visit. I made my first trip to Niagara Falls this spring, and I will definitely be going back next year. There are tons of hotels to choose from in Niagara Falls, and most of them are within close range of the Falls and other attractions. Your best bet is to pick a hotel that suits your budget and is as close to the attractions you think you’ll enjoy in addition to the Falls. I stayed at the Brock Plaza Niagara Falls hotel because the price was right, it was close to convenient attractions, and it had great online reviews. It turned out to be a great choice. From the moment you step inside this hotel, you’re impressed with a sense of Old World style and charm. There’s a beautiful chandelier, piano and sweeping staircase leading down to the reception desk. I requested a room with a view of the Falls and it couldn't have been better. Best of all, the room’s windows actually opened so you could hear the water rushing over the Falls as well as see it. You also get a great view of the Falls from the restaurant at the Brock Plaza Hotel. One other terrific feature of the Brock Plaza is it’s connected to Casino Niagara by indoor walkway. Whether you like gaming or not, you’ll find the Casino entertaining. There are live music performances as well as comedy acts held on the weekends, and you can watch whatever games are in season in the Casino’s Sports Section. There’s also a fun, very friendly bar, a cafe that’s open 24 hours a day, a buffet restaurant and a cool retro-style restaurant that’s open for dinner. You’ll also have easy access to Christienne Falls View Spa in the Sheraton Hotel from the Brock Plaza hotel. I treated myself to a massage at the spa, and the floor to ceiling Falls view windows made it an incredibly relaxing experience. These are just a few of the attractions I enjoyed indoors on my visit to Niagara Falls. You’ll of course want to take one or more tours of the Falls up close, too, and if you stay at the Brock Plaza, the front desk can arrange these for you. I found the Brock Plaza on HotelsCombined.com, where they combine over 30 different search engines to allow you to find the best hotel rates. It's very convenient, no matter where you're traveling.
