Plan an African Safari Adventure at Kruger National Park
|
You can plan and arrange an African safari at Kruger National Park in several ways. You may wish to arrange a safari that lasts several days and includes accommodations within the Park as part of a guided safari tour. You could also choose to stay in accommodations you book yourself just outside the Park. You can then take the safari tour of your choice within the Park, or explore it on your own via your Rental Car. I choose to book my own accommodations as I was interested in exploring the areas outside the Park as well as within. I took a day trip, guided safari and thereafter, explored Kruger Park on my own. I was able to spot plenty of birds and wildlife, including all of the "Big 5" during my visit. You can choose a hotel located near any of the gates to Kruger Park for easy access when you are ready to view wildlife. I choose the Malelane Sun Hotel located in the foothills of the Klein Drakensber Mountains right along the banks of the Crocodile River. You couldn't be any closer to the African wilderness, but this is a completely modern hotel with outstanding facilities, a wonderful staff and incredible amenities.
Despite the fact that you know you're on a game viewing deck on the edge of an African safari park, the site of a wild elephant so close by is still astonishing. This was the first of many wonderful experiences I had viewing birds and other wildlife when I least expected it during my African safari adventure. Plan a trip to Kruger National Park and you'll experience the same sense of amazement at the ease and frequency with which wildlife moves about the area.
